In Two for the Road, musicians Joan Manuel Serrat and Joaquín Sabina take us on a journey through a continent that has undergone enormous change, and where these two artists have put down deep roots. Serrat has been travelling around Latin America for 45 years. Prosecuted by the Franco dictatorship, he took exile in Mexico. Moreover, the memory of his steadfast battle against the military regimes of Argentina and Chile is still very much alive today. Sabina came to the Americas later. His poetry and rebellious stance seduced vast audiences of different generations. In Argentina, he sings with all the force of a rock star and the raw emotion of a tango singer.
